Mars Mystery Rock–Too Bad it Don’t Look Like a Face

The Curiosity Mars Rover has done laser and x-ray testing of a unique and interesting pyramid-shaped rock.

I kind of miss the Face on Mars, though my skeptical question was– why shouldn’t a rock look like a face? Remember the Old Man of the Mountain?

Geologists and space nerds get to enjoy a buzz from igneous and sedimentary rocks and those ‘blueberry’ things they still haven’t figured out.

It would be great if Curiosity found the ruins of the Old Ones, but realistically, evidence of bacterial fossils would rock our world. Stay posted.
