A general impression of last night’s foreign policy debate, Mitt Romney echoed Barack Obama’s approach of making alliances and setting boundaries, but he would do it in a Romney kind of way.
His going on about how the US is weak and discredited internationally was not helpful to our national strength or reputation. In fact, if a Democratic candidate said those kind of things they’d get jumped on. It must be an example of Republican privilege.
And Mitt Romney deserved the ‘bayonet’ jab. He was comparing apples to oranges to come up with a National Enquirer level talking point.
And now I’m off to work, on the socialist mission of providing health care to the 99%.
