Summer Solstice June 21, 2013

For She shall bring the sun in the Spring
And walk among the flowers
In Summer’s heat her kisses are sweet
She laughs in leafy bowers
She bends and sways to gather the grain
With all her fruits abounding
In Winter’s cold her bones grow old
She wraps her cloak around Her

We are at the mid point of the Year of the Snake. My friend whose family came from China knows a few things about that. He says The Snake brings turmoil. 2001 was a Year of the Snake. But sometimes the second half of the Snake year turns around for the better.
