supermoon aug 9

Tonight is the full moon, but last night’s 97% super moon was not bad either.

In today’s news for people who live in apartments, finally justice is done-

A 46-year-old woman in Methuen, Massachusetts was sentenced to 18 months in jail on Friday for criminally harassing her downstairs neighbors and filing a false police report.
According to the North Andover Eagle-Tribune, a jury found Barbara Abernathy guilty of eight counts of disturbing the peace, six counts of violating a protective restraining order, two counts of criminal harassment and one count of filing a false police report.
Over the course of three days, the jury and court officials heard from the Henao family, who detailed how Abernathy would deliberately stomp and drop heavy objects on the floor at all hours of the day and night for years in order to harass and disturb them.

I wish that judge had been around when I had those students living next door, but it’s nice to see someone take a noise nuisance seriously.

I’m heading to church this morning but not singing from the hymn book of Maryland Republicans, who elected an open theocrat in their primary. If you don’t know why this is bad news, Google why the Pilgrims came to Plymouth, and then read about what they did to their own dissidents. Makes me appreciate Roger Williams.

It’s sunny, not something to take for granted in Rhode Island.

Here’s a Sunday inspiration from Starhawk at Rowe Camp-

Give thanks, for unknown blessings already on their way.
Give thanks, for unknown blessings already on their way.
We will not, look back in anger, or forward in fear, but around in awareness.

Blessed be.
